Why do I have to make an appointment?

By scheduling an appointment at our clinic, you receive a personalised service. Each appointment functions as a comprehensive consultation, allowing us to focus entirely on the needs of the client attending, ensuring that every individual receives the highest level of care. Additionally, many of our clients may not realise they need additional services, and the capacity of these services available to them, thus serving as an opportunity to discuss and address those potential needs.

What is a Pedorthist?

Pedorthics is the specialised field of healthcare focused on assessing, designing, and providing custom footwear and orthotics to enhance foot function and alleviate lower limb discomfort for people whom suffer from disabilities and foot deformities. As certified Pedorthists, we analyse biomechanics, gait patterns, and individual foot conditions to create personalised solutions using the latest technologies. Our goal is to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall foot health. Whether you're dealing with a specific foot ailment or seeking preventive measures, Pedorthics is the key to comfortable, custom solutions that support your unique needs

Do you do home visits?

Our practice does not offer home visits or any form of off-site consultations. We appreciate your understanding.

Do I need a referral?

While a formal referral is not mandatory, we recommend notifying our office if you are consulting with a Podiatrist or a comparable healthcare professional for an existing pathology. This proactive communication allows us to establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with your specialist, facilitating a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary treatment protocol tailored to best complement your individual healthcare requirements

How do I refer a client/patient?

Please feel free to contact our office via phone or email. Our dedicated staff is ready to assist you with your request. All pertinent contact information is  conveniently located on our Contact page.

Can I get a rebate from my private health insurance?

Please liaise directly with your nominated health insurer for detailed information on their rebate procedures before you visit. Some require a referral from a service provider such as a Podiatrist or GP. It is important to note that our clinic currently does not utilise a HICAPS system, & you will be provided with a comprehensive invoice receipt containing item codes, which you may then submit to your health insurer for reimbursement at your convenience.

Is the clinic easily accessible?

We have the convenience of on-site private parking right outside our front door. The entrance has no steps, ensuring a seamless entry for all visitors. Additionally, we provide accessible toilets.

Can I accompany my client to an assessment?

Yes, absolutely, we welcome and encourage referring clinicians to accompany their clients to assessments. This provides an opportunity to observe the comprehensive multi-disciplinary treatment options available and offers added comfort to the client with the presence of a familiar face
